The CrossFit 137 Gym

CrossFit 137provides a healthy environment to improve overall fitness through group classes, healthy competition and support from an in-house built community. It is appealing to anyone because no matter what fitness level you are capable of, you are all able to do the same workout scaled to your individual needs. Whatever your reasoning for coming to work-out – whether it is wanting to get healthier or lose a few pounds – you are doing it with a group of people who have similar reasons for being there, which provides the accountability everyone needs.

Scott started CrossFit 137 in May of 2019 with the desire to help bring fitness to the Waterville area. He was introduced to crossfit in 2013 by a coworker at the firehouse where he worked. He enjoys helping people to reach their full potential, physically and mentally, and achieve their goals for a healthier lifestyle.

Scott brings a philosophy of progress not perfection to his members at Crossfit 137; that with proper technique and body mechanics, and lots of practice we can all get faster, stronger, and lead a healthy life. Come join Scott and the rest of the CrossFit 137 team at our gym on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville, Maine!

CrossFit athlete and coach for 10+ years. Mike has a vast array of experience helping beginners and advanced CrossFitters achieve their fitness goals.
When he is not coaching or working out he is a full time IT technician at Colby College.

Alexis Evans

Alexis has been coaching CrossFit since 2016. She grew up around her family’s business, Decal Gymnastics, and continues as the program director there.

She is passionate about fitness and likes to encourage healthy lifestyles for everyone. “I love how I can help encourage healthy habits in a safe and encouraging atmosphere where people don’t come to “just work out” but to be a part of a community. I look at my girls that come into gymnastics and there are days they wouldn’t be able to get through without their teammates, CrossFit provides the same mentality. People who are here for the same reason as you, to get healthy, and challenge themselves. Everyone here holds each other accountable, and encourages each other, which creates a sense of belonging and motivation you didn’t know you had, the environment and CrossFit community are amazing”

Coach Jesse

Jesse Morkeski

Jesse resides in Winslow with his Fiancé Lynn and their wild pup Charlie. They spend their time enjoying the outdoors in the woods or in their kayaks. They will be getting married lakeside this summer at a scenic state park.
Jesse was a D3 Lacrosse Goalie at Thomas College 2009-2013. He began Crossfit in the summer of 2016 and started coaching a year after learning the sport. Jesse coaches many evening classes and has participated in the open three times. He has competed in various competitions including Crossfit, Powerlifting and Weightlifting. He is dedicated to teaching others fitness as well as pursing his own goals.
Jesse started working full time for the Waterville Fire Department as a Firefighter/EMT in January of 2018. He is always furthering his education and is a very familiar face in this community.

Seth Rogers

Seth started at CrossFit Decal in 2016, and has been coaching CrossFit since 2018.
He lives in Belgrade and works in IT. And he's very excited about what's to come at CrossFit 137!
